The subfascial and muscular calf implants are two different surgical techniques used to increase the size of your calf. The first one creates pockets between muscle fibers with no fascia lining in it while the other inserts an apparatus underneath skin near fat tissue where there’s plenty of space for expansion.

Dr. Mallol will make an incision in the skin at the back of your knee and form a pocket for the implant. He’ll then insert it carefully into place with tiny sutures or surgical adhesive that leaves no scars behind!
