The Breast lift procedure aims to restore the breasts to a natural position on the chest wall, while the augmentation or breast implants aims to return firmness and fullness to the breasts – especially the upper breast or upper pole.

Dr. Mallol will make an incision around the areola, extending down the front of the breast. Your breasts will be lifted and reshaped, and the implant of your choice will be placed. If necessary, your areolas will be moved to the correct position on your breasts. Incisions will be closed with stitches or surgical tape.

The healing process can be a bit difficult in the beginning, but once you’re past those first few days it gets much easier. You will need to take medicine and do what Dr. Mallol tells you to do it for a quick recovery. All surgery leaves scars, including plastic surgery procedures like breast lift with implants, however experienced surgeons like Dr. Mallol are very careful about scar placement and minimisation, with surgical scars generally fading over time. Make sure you ask any questions you might have about the healing process or warning signs you should be aware of.
